April News
I trust you’re doing well. I wanted to provide an update on our recent endeavors. Last month, we launched a food campaign aimed at supporting Ebenezer Children’s Home. Recognizing the escalating demand for sustenance, particularly amidst the challenges of inflation and the recent floods in Kenya, we’ve organized a special fundraiser to address these pressing needs.
The floods in Kenya have wreaked havoc, devastating farms and displacing numerous individuals. This has exacerbated the already steep prices of food, rendering it increasingly unattainable for many. The repercussions of these floods extend far beyond mere inconvenience; they have evolved into a national catastrophe, causing significant damage to churches and leaving one of our schools to shelter flood victims. While we’re grateful for the assistance provided by various well-wishers who’ve donated food supplies to our center, the demand persists. I urge you to keep Kenya in your prayers, especially as countless individuals seek refuge in our churches, displaced and hungry due to the floods.
On a brighter note, I’m pleased to report progress at our Street Boy Center. The successful re-introduction of the second boy, following four months of counseling and rehabilitation, marks a significant milestone. He has been successfully reunited with his biological parents, a testament to the effectiveness of our efforts in supporting vulnerable children.
Once again, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support in all our endeavors. Your solidarity strengthens our resolve to continue making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
